These Terms explain the rules for using HouseProud, including accounts, subscriptions, user content and support.

Agreement to these Terms
By using HouseProud, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the app or website.
About HouseProud
HouseProud is a home improvement tracking app. It helps users capture home jobs, organise them by room, track progress with photos and complete jobs with before-and-after updates.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide when creating or using your account. You are also responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens through your account.
Your content
You may upload or add photos, room names, job details, notes and other content to HouseProud. You keep ownership of the content you add, but you give HouseProud permission to store, display and process that content so we can provide the app features to you.
You agree not to upload content that:
- You do not have the right to use.
- Is unlawful, harmful, abusive or misleading.
- Infringes someone else’s rights.
- Contains sensitive information you do not want stored in the app.
Subscriptions
HouseProud may offer paid subscription features. Subscription prices, duration and included features will be shown before purchase.
If you subscribe through Apple, your purchase is handled by Apple. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies.
Free trials and promotional offers
If HouseProud offers a free trial or promotional subscription, the details will be shown before you start. At the end of a free trial, your subscription may automatically renew as a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use HouseProud for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the app.
- Copy, modify or reverse engineer any part of the app except where allowed by law.
- Use the app in a way that could damage, overload or impair our systems.
AI-assisted features
HouseProud may include optional AI-assisted features, such as suggested job titles, descriptions or simple starter advice. AI-generated content may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing any suggestions before relying on them.
Home improvement advice
HouseProud is a tracking and organisation tool. Any suggestions or information provided by the app should not replace professional advice. For electrical, gas, structural, safety-critical or specialist work, you should use a qualified professional.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep HouseProud available and working well, but we cannot guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, suspend or remove features from time to time.
Ending your use of HouseProud
You can stop using HouseProud at any time. If you want help with your account or data, contact us at support@house-proud.app.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HouseProud is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible for losses caused by your use of the app, your reliance on app content, or any home improvement decisions you make.
Privacy
Your use of HouseProud is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect information.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
